Default springs for GTi

hi guys, i have just picked up a new set of Gmax 30mm lowering springs for next to nothing, and was wondering if they are going to be ok as all the gmax springs i see for sale to fix an Escort GTi are 40-60mm drop. wont know the product code until they arrive but do the springs vary that much?, said they were to fit a mk6 Escort so decided to take a punt as they literally cost a handfull of change lol. cheers

Their springs are acceptable (ish) from experience but their dampers are chocolate and of very poor quality
