Default Does anyone know the number for poor installation (Clifford alarms)

Had an Clifford fitted whilst my car was in the paintshop, you wont beleive the aggro i have had since i had my alarm fitted on friday by an `authorised` installer, the bodges are unreal!, came out once already as it wouldnt start when i got in it after he first installed it, and lots of bits on my car arent working since!, the installer was very aggresive when i rang him to complain! does anyone know a direct customer number for clifford? as im sure they wouldnt mind taking a look at what their "authorised installers" class of work is like! cheers

if it was gap security then you may as well get someone else to come and have a look at it

mine drains the battery, locks the doors when you disarm it and unlocks them when you arm it, won't open the boot when i press the boot open button and generally buggers about and goes off when it wants to

called the fitter, didn't want to know

called gap, they said it's the fitters problem, they didn't want to know

called the fitter back, "not my problem mate, it was fitted correctly"

so how am i supposed to work out what wires where?

eventually i figured out that if i let the car arm itself it was fine 50% of the time and woun;t drain the battery, but it's the worst waste of £400+ i've spent, and trust me, i've wasted loads of money on my car

even the guy i went to afterwards to get it sorted said he'd have fitted the same system for £200 and it was going to cost me at least £150 to remove

total and utter bunch of cunty cowboys the lot of them as far as i'm concerend

I can absolutely guarantee you cliffy won't be interested.
I'm pretty sure they are the same outfit that did a mates car some years ago, I ended up ripping out everything the'd done, and fitting a s/h toad we removed from a scrap car as it had the fob still, no issues at all since.
To be fair though it's like 10% alarm and 90% fitter for a decent working alarm, there's not much inherantly wrong with the cliffys if fitted correctly.

An alarm is only as good as the technician/monkey installing it. Cliffords do seem to be exceptionally installation sensitive
