Where is the best place to buy a pectel board for a L8 ECU.

Joe Stephens (formerly bluesprint motorsport)sells them new,not sure if they are the collins copy boards though.Failing that put a wanted post up on this site somebody will have a use board.Karl Norris(NMS) also sells them.I hope this helps.

Thanks lee, i looked for Bluesprint motorsport as i work around essex/maldon and they have disapeared.

are the collins boards o.k, have spoke to them but getting hold of the right person isn't always easy, need to call them back tomorrow.

If you have access to an eprom programmer, I can email you a free program that converts pectel chip files to standard L8 board files.
Will probably save you £150+

or.... I can do it for you if you come to me...free of course

 

Tony hasn't got one for an L8 at present as I spoke to him very recently.


Pete,yes a collins board is a copy of the pectel board and will work fine in your L8 ecu.Pete Bluesprint has changed company name apparently.I don't know what's happened there but I can get you Joes number if you want to.Personally I would go for the kind offer from ECU monitor enthusiast above.
