Couldn't believe it when the missus told me she'd never been to Southend so after I 'd mown the lawn and we'd planted the runner beans out we jumped in the car and off we went. Won't bore everybody with what we got up to but I was really pleased as after changing the water pump on Saturday the return journey saw an average of 39.9mpg and an average speed of 40mph

I was starting to think I may have to sell up and get a diesel but after that performance I'm sticking to the good old petrol
