i do love these but Ł125000 is frickin steep even for 1100 miles. the house i rent out was valued last year at Ł128000 and i would no way swap it, i think that will be for sale forever at that price imo.

It's like anything, if a private collector wants a perfect example for his collection and he had the money he would just buy it IMO. It's just a waiting game as far as the seller is concerned.

what some of you don't realise is that Ron Hodgson has been selling performance cars longer than you have been around. He was selling Cosworths in the 80-90's and any other high performance bit of kit he could make money out of.
He won't care if you think its dear and he won't of paid what he's asking for it,he won't care if you can't afford it either.
its one of them cars if it sells it sells if it doesn't who cares,the fact is he has made his money selling cars and has a genuine RS200 and Lambos Ferraris etc which is a nice reward for being in the used car game so long

lol ron used to work for fast lane performance cars in the late 80,s 90,s he then went on his own,the rs200 is 99% his own car,i.e his own coin tied up in it, no lambo,s only sold a couple of rarris ,a 328 gts and a 360,he favours rs fords r32 golf and the like i have seen this car in the flesh,stunning but as you say if it sells it sells more likely to go to a collector i.m.h.o
saw a silver lambo gallardo with ron hodgson performance cars on the plates at manheim haydock last year parked slap bang outside in the carpark where every fucker could see it,i did notice the paint was poorly applied shade wise though
.i used to say Hi to the guy who owned fast lane when i saw him about before he fucked off to festival park in stoke and started selling 7 seater mini vans people carriers.
He was only about 5ft 4 with blondish hair but fcuk me they could sell RS's and Xr's around there for proper money.

did you ever visit rs northwest in the late 80,s it was in wigan 5 mins walk from the centre?got burned down i.i.r.c and all the mechanics took an rs home the evening it caught fire for some strange reason lol
