yes i know what you mean though i do roughly 70 to 180 mile a day and wanted something pretty ecenomical and pretty with no ecus or common rail injection etc etc,i prefer good old basic diesel engines for reliability

no it didnt come across that way anyway buddy, i understand it will not be everyones cup of tea and its pretty much strayed away from a original xr3i but suits my purpose fully,i needed something ecenomical as i have the series 1 and a tl1000r bike this car gets me to work everyday without fail and even takes a bit of waste veg oil too

i hate it when somebody will comment after reading the first post of a thread, the idea of a thread is a ongoing discussion so how a judgement and statement can be made after the 1st post is beyond me just hope mgtkr1 isnt in a murder trial and turn up late

any brown/black on tthe floor is multipurpose grease,all the floor is smeared with the stuff but as you can see all original and done to a good standard, the front shows spreader plates on each angle
and this rear drop bar i can only assume its too stop suspension drop round hard cornering

yes it stiffens it right up its the best handling mk4 i have drove and ive had my fair share,fair play to whoever fitted it and fabricated it,if i want to remove it i would have to get te grinder out though i plan on leaving it in for safety factor if i get t boned or the likes

Bloody hell i didnt know the strenghtening bars were right through to the rea of the inside of the car.I wouldnt mind a ride out in it.Some clever person has owned this car at some point.

i was thorough when i bought it and lifted the carpets it is tagged into the front seatbolt cros beams and the front riggers have triangular strengthener plates its not as good now on the oz wheels but back on the 15s it made me grin
i really need to buy a camera this is how the car sits at the minute
if anyone sees me out be sure to give me a wave
