have never seen this magical t38 do anything better than what a cr turbo gt30 can do and the gt30 is a bolt on

You can't boot it in 5th from 70mph as it surges a bit.

Its fine if you use 4th or 3rd.

Can't find the graph with torque on or for the Spec-R intercooler, but the graph is about the same but smoother.

Answer the question, in answer to yours, because a GT30 is better

The 11 degrees on the graph will have resulted in the power being reduced from what was measured to what is placed onto the graph.

If its a very hot day the opposite will happen, the readings will be taken and then added to before the graph is plotted.

Should give very close to the same reading in both cases

Thanks again guys will have a chat with the guys at msd and see what they think.
The engine is simmilar spec to one i had in my old car but feels much worse to drive both is spool up time and recovery between changes, which may be down to the BD10 exhaust cam or the fact i was spoiled with the Porsche with power from 2K to 7K.

The BD10 exhaust cam will not be doing you any favours at all.

Ok throwing this back up as i plan on changing turbos next week, im working nights over in Holland justnow so not had a chance to phone msd but have emailed Stu.

I know of one person that has fitted a GT3071 onto a 4wd manifold on an escos so looks like that can be done and is another option, would think there may be a few more fitted to mk1 and 2 escorts that way as i know clearance is an issure in them on the 2wd manifold.
