My guess is that mr lambo valued his licence more than you and came to his senses lol I had a little play with an Rs Focus. Upto 110 we were tied until his girlfriend started hitting him and he backed off bless.

grant, it might not be!

my 2.0l ZT was on a twin scroll T4, started making boost at 3krpm, and by 6k rpm and 28psi the rear end was going where the front end should be

mine made 397bhp and 386bhp with more to go had it survived for the mapping to be finished!

Off topic; but when you put a thread up, usually full of 'controversial' chat, you reach 2+ pages quicker than almost anyone else on Passionford.

Did the early R8's not have a lambo engine? If so its possible his story is true. I was able to pull past one of the original R8's in a 4x4 sapphire that was 430ish bhp. At a decent enough pace too, not a crawl and not a blast of lambo destroying fury

That would have been a proper giggle to drive, and IIRC that power output wasn't even with a full throttle capability either...

Not sure that Momo is on a twin scroll though, think he said it was just a T4 that he bought off his pal?? Could be wrong though.. there has been a lot of random info about his spec thrown over a lot of random threads!!

and you beat a 4 wheel drive car that has a minimum of 520bhp? (depending on what model it was) and the engineering, gear ratios and areodynamics to see near 200mph?

Can anyone else smell that?....

mine comes on boost at 3500 and full boost a lil higher but it pulls hard to the redline and when its at about5000 rpm onwards really feels like scary for me anyway!

So your FWD car with around 300bhp, with maybe a 140-150mph top end and roughly a high 13, mid 14 second quarter possibility was able to take on a 4x4 supercar with something between 500-550bhp and a 200+mph capability.....

Mate you gotta stop smoking that shit

Nah they had the 4.2 V8 from the Audi RS4 mate, nearly all of them struggle to make 414bhp in the RS4 although not sure if they were tuned further in the R8.

just watched some youtube clips vith gallardos doing the 1/4 mile around mid to high 11s. So there are really some cars on the street that can match tose times.

I read a few days ago about a FWD Fiesta in this forum that managed that time. So Lambos could be beaten by a Ford

Im sorry but im going to disagree with 90% of the people and say that it could be possible that he was able to pull on a Gallardo once rolling. Yes they do a 12.2 mile 1/4 @120mph, but they have the aid of 4wd. Although the quarter time might be slower, look at the terminal speed speed of any decent 330+ hp fwd light weight (escort, fiesta, nova, corsa etc) car and ask yourself, why wouldnt it be able to pull on Lambo??

i never saw the rev limit of 7k, as no matter what gear you were in - when the first shift light came on at 6krpm, that was the exact point the rear end lost traction

it is probably the worst car i have ever driven, as every time i drove it, i nearly crashed it

and yes grant, the rollers were only opening 3/4 at full throttle but tbh, that probably didnt make much difference!
