there are too many "might have's" in the story
he "might have" a 300 bhp+ escort
he "might have" been along side a lambo
the lambo driver "might have" been giving it beans
the lambo driver "might have" had the talent to drive said car rapidly
they "might have" had a discussion
or it "might have" not happened at all in the way he's making it out to have happened
i was much more believing of dave when he "raced" his lambo in his escos because you could well believe that dave, being well known enough, and having a car that's well capable of being quick AND dave being able to pedal an escos fairly quickly and it was only when people said that the lambo driver was more intrested in inserting his person into his lady friend in the passenger seat when he got home that the thread went to shit
i've beaten rods saph, on the motorway (but we were in traffic and he was broken down on the hard shoulder) so it's all about how it's played out
and if it's played out, on video, around a track, with other cars too, no one would ever doubt this claims and he's be hailed a legend
but that's not happened, not to say that he didn't beat the lambo fair and sqaure

I take fuck all notice of how long someone has been on here or how many posts they have etc, in fact in MO's case unless I go and look now I couldnt tell you even vaguely what either of those numbers are.

he's had his license for a while, mo would be driving his own car, any mods martin did would obviously be so obvious that they'd include bolting some hair driers to the engine so his one would be standard

which is the black s2 that spec 1 built with a zetec turbo in on beige injectors and ofab and sum big fuckin turbo , tried telling me it was 400+ bhp and was proper well fast , then went and run a couple of high/mid 14s , was 2007i think was on fast fords stand with the 2 s1 cossies , that yours or u mates ?

Well that was an interesting read from start to finish !!!!
I have to say i dont understand why this is so hard for some people to believe i am inclined to agree that it is possible.
Although MO RS TURBO'S attitude is not helping himself.
I think it would be a good idea to go Pod and prove some times.
People may remember me last year getting a big slating for saying my orion would run a 12 at pod a week later i did indeed run a twelve to prove the haters wrong but that still wasnt good enough for some people as they say it should have been done at Brunters.
There is quite a few of us on here all running 12's (Qplate rst,crazycage,louis etc etc )

i also know what a light car is like with some power as i own what i regard as a proper light hot hatch a r5 gt turbo 860kg kerb weight and with 178bhp 177 lb/ft it certainly dont hang about lol

that must have been 1 of the customers runners like mine once was. this car has only been around few years and wasnt around in 07 !! what was u expecting a fucking 12 second quarter for a car running ofab and beigis .. the series 1 must have been the car which was just under 400bhp so stop chatting bullshit cheers!
