Cheapest VAG Fault Code Reading in Solihull/Brum?

Default Cheapest VAG Fault Code Reading in Solihull/Brum?
Got a warning for a fault with exhaust system and VW want £85 to just read the fault which seems steep.

Anyone in brum got the kit to do it and fancy a crate of larger on sat morn?

download vagcom for free and buy a cheap lead off ebay, you will be able to read fault codes and also get the part number of any parts required,
you can clear the codes aswell

if not then theres several places around brum that will do it for around 20-25 quid max. 1 garage on middle more road birmingham handsworth would do it for you and are good guys and any garage you see in handsworth all do it mate its popular around there i went and mine was the cat prob.

its free to download so you only need the lead really.

Its just a diseasal Mk5 golf.

Mo I'm hoping its a sensor rather than the cat Handsworth a biit of a mission to get to as well.

I can meet you near some sort of brum services on my way up to scotchland on Sunday evening if you want to borrow my fault code reader?I'll pick it up on the way back down in a few weeks,no rush.

lol does the car go in to limp mode??? he put it on the reader and deleted it or something after that it never came off he said it was the cat or cat sensor etc as you could see i dont no much just watched him do it
