took the escort cossie out for a
run yesterday,

driving along one of my local roads and i got
stuck behind some traffic then there
was a bang and my steering went mental
pulled the car over and my tyre was destroyed by a big fucking
pot hole

the alloy might be fucked aswell i am getting that checked tomorrow

Go back, put a ruler or a coin in the hole so you can see how deep it is and take pics (NOT digital) and write and complain - you should be able to get the repair costs out of them. Make sure you do this before complaining - they are quite quick to fill them in

We live in a new housing estate, the road is a fookin joke at the moment.
My Escort at MOT time failed majorly on suspension due to the road onto the estate. The speed bumps are massive at the moment as they havent finished laying the road so they re mountainous.
In the last few weeks, I ve had to shell out on the shitbox as well as guess what, yep, suspension is fucked on that too

take a picc , adress it to street care at ur local council and ask to get an official out to meet u on site....
if the pot hole is on a bridge over a motorway, then u are in for a long ride...as i found out the fookin hard way..didnt i just!!!!
but got settled in the end!!!
