Default How long has it taken you to finish your project cars off???

Its taking me around 3 years learning as I go to finish a simple 2.0 fezzy. Has anyone else taken so long just to finish a car off??

My 3 Door is a constant project so 7 and a half years and counting!!

i have been working on mine for 23years its been on & off the road ever since this tidy up its been off road since october 2009 may finish it this year but more lightly next .
i have done quiet a bit though

its took me 6 years to strip my sierra & weld the chassis rails, but im not in a rush to finish it.

Mine came off the road February 2006 for a complete re-build. It drove again in August 2010 but has only been completed in the last few weeks.
The TC, LC & flat shilt have still to be activated so somewhat over 5years todate.

so I'm about normal lol. To be honest the actual engine install itself hasn't been too bad, its all the bolts, brackets and cables that are missing that are taking the time to find.

Im after blacktop 2.0 alternator brackets and bolts. No one on ebay will sell them or break a complete engine lol. Am seriously at the point of buying another complete engine and just swapping them over! How stupid was i buying a bare engine.
