My ladies mother is wheelchair bound and due to the digital changeover has invested in a Freeview box with built in recorder. Now she wants to be able to access those programs in the bedroom (next door to the sitting room) but doesn't want cables trailing.

It was suggested she got a TV sender but will this allow the remote control to work from the next room as well? Are they any cop? Will they interfere with anything?

Need to get it sorted for her asap as she's getting a little worried about it all and I'm worried she'll just call somebody in and get tucked up.

I've tried several for customers and tbh, they are utter shite, your only real answer is a cable, wether it be from the aerial and a second freeview box, or from the existing box if it has an rf out

What model of box do u have? Some feature dlna fir playback elsewhere, although that might be a little complex for her. It would, though, work over wifi.

Otherwise, use an appropriate cable and an ir extension system e.g. qed roomlink, keene electronics, or others.
