bout 3 litres of base,say 2litres laquer, alot depends on ratio etc,some sat 2:1,some 50/50,some 10%thinners,some say up to 30%.

another ratio that ive seen alot is 4 part base coat, 2 part thinners, 1 part hardener was thinking of using this ratio

Wouldnt use hardener on basecoat fella,its for the laquer only.

check this site mate this is wear i got my stuff from paints4u.com click on the items and read the data sheets it gives you a good idea on mixing ratios, prep, and drying times etc etc.
