Default putting resistors on seat belt tensioners and airbags etc

i have a numpty mate of mine with a 307 put racing seats in so no tensioners etc, now i know you can fool the airbag etc into thinking they are fine with 3 ohm resisor etc the same with wheel airbags etc

my question is are all makes diff resistance or will 3ohm fit all?

why not leave the pretensioners in situ so you dont have to fool the system, just dont use them?

becuase then he would have to have them floating around under the seats, think he wants to change the steering wheel too so that one will have to be done or the light will be flashing on

I have no idea about these systems, but 3 ohms sounds low. Are you sure it's not 3k?

Why the fook is he doing this to a 307?

If he is removing all pretensioners and airbags, would it not just be easier for him to disconnect the airbag ECU and whip the bulb out of the dash?

it would be ironic if he crashes it and gets more injured as a result of his 'performance' modifications

I think it would be more ironic if they were safety modifications, rather than not being ironic in the least, them being performance mods

Lee you will get away using a 2.5 ohm resistor in each line that you are disabling and depending on what year the 307 is it will either have the pretentioner in the seat belt stork or seat belt reel also check if it has side airags uilt into the seats hope that helps ?.

Regards Doug.
