Personally, id buy a car on condition and history, if its a good, honest, straight car, does it matter how many owners its had ?

Agree with Fidster,

as long as the car comes with a fully stamped service history book, with all the bills and receipts and looks straight and tidy and passes your/a mechanics inspection, it doesn't matter about the number of owners.....

cars like that often change hands a lot anyway. People buy them, then sell them as the running costs are high.

But if it was a 3dr 500 with one owner or there one with 15 owners, what one would you like? at the same price.

It would put me off a bit, if the service history was impeccable it should be ok but you could find cars with less owners and less chance of abuse for similar money.

At the end of the day, condition over mileage,I'd be mode inclined to ask why it's in Spain after a finance repo?

It wouldn't put me off at all... but the fuel bill would! Probably why it's had so many owners - They filled up a couple of times and thought "Fuck that!"

Agreed. Something would niggle away at me wondering what the answer to that question might be. There are plenty of similar cars on Ebay with fewer owners so why has this one had so many would be the question going through my mind.

Are you serious? The fuel economy is actually very good for a big V6, i get 30mpg+ easily, only drops to 25mpg in traffic/short journeys.

most of them are bought by tw@ts, who give it stick to impress anybody looking, and then get a shock when they have to put a couple of tyres on, ok if you live in essex, as they have loads of money

Ah you mean the one's who put Wanli's or Landsail tyres on them, complain they could be faster if they made more grip etc..

Mine has never been that bad on fuel and its better since it was tuned, however the previous owner used to only get 18-23mpg in it!

but it's in spain so that's going to cost plenty to even go and collect it, let alone find out it's a scam

well it sold for £2,750 the seller said it would take 16 hours of driving to get it back to the uk, and expenses of £200 not sure if that's including your flight or just petrol

£200 is going to get you around 150 litres of fuel, at uk prices, and that's 2.5 tanks on the mondeo so you'd better being doing the optimum mpg to get back

plus the flight out there

and the buyers not even flown out to see the car in the flesh

plus the outstanding finance issue

problems
