Old brake disc - scrap value?

I have 4 x old brake discs - is there any scrap value, i.e. weight it in for cash?

Or there is no value at all?

Probably less than the value of petrol it takes to get to the scrappy with how petrol costs!

£270/tonne is what I was told for that metal the other day. So if you have 10kg - £2.70.

i went last friday and it was £140 gone down from £170. How ever i did throw in two discs.

i got told if you weighing a car in it worth £20 to pot the windows and put a hose on to the inside of the car and let the seats and carpet soak up the water lol
