Default Needs help with locking wheel nut not got correct socket for it

Hey was just wondering if anyone new how to remove a locking wheel nut without the correct socket, my mate brought some new wheels and couldnt remove his current wheels due to not having the right socket... lols on him

weld a nut on it or get a special tool to remove it

hammer an old socket on to it but be careful not to hit your wheel.

i normally wack a slightly smaller socket over the nut, always works but you need 4 sockets and they are no good after.

You can buy sockets at halfords just for the job

The nuts are 17mil so what size socket should i use to wack onto it ?

try a 10mm

no seriously theres special tools for that, if halfords has it its worth buying it there

weld a bolt on to them them brake the bolt of and chap on one of them fansy irwan sockets and jobs a goodin

I just gave my mate a bell and he said he'll check them out to but most probably go to halfords, cheers for help though fella

im suprised nobody tryed this...i got a chizel small one and put it between the nut and rim then smacked it with the hammer [ carefully without damaging the rim]it loosens and slowly turns loose! then take it off
