Default Help needed

Hey there guys got a major headache, i have an escort xr3i mk4 efi am getting rough idlewing and a flat spot causing judddering and hesitation at around 2500rpm in every gear despite doing full service plugs, leads, coil pack and filters change

Any ideas please help ggrrrrrrrrrrr

have you tried injector cleaner, a small bottle in halfords £1.99 goes in the tank next time you fill up

thanks for the reply yes have put redex injector cleaner through it with no difference even after 100 miles i am now starting to think maybe pressure regulator any 1 agree or have another suggestion

cheers mate yes have checked all the obvious even gave it full service but still no luck and now im just hitting a brick wall as to where to go next

sounds stupid but have you checked the fuse box? i had a mk5 escort that showed all the issues you are suffering from, i changed everything including air flow meter,coil pack leads,plugs fuel fileter, turned out to be problems with the fuse box

hadnt actually thought of that tev lol seems to be a fuelling problem as if lack of fuel yet running mega rich at the same time 100 miles to half tank ouch

kinda hard to explain but the wire's leading to the fuses break down, my fuel pump stopped working i had to take power from the next fuse to get home turns out its a common problem, i just replace the fuse box n it cured everything

well heading up the breakers yard next week going to get fuel pressure regulator fuel pump at my mates advise and at tevs advise fuse box try 1 at a time and see if can cure the problem will update end of next week as to wether the problem is solved
However in the meantime ANY ADVISE is more than welcome
