Question Any interest in group A brake ducts to start a production ?

Hello guys,

Over the years I've always chased the famous group A carbon wheel ducts that you could find on the famous sapphire cosworth, but also on the celica, delta and group A rallycars of that time. I had the chance to put my hands on a set, and I've taken contact to have them remade.

The thing is they need at least 10 customers to start the production. The quality of the stuff would be just awesome and stronger than the original part ! The parts would be made out of 100% pre preg autoclave cured carbon fibre and the finish would be also that awesome.

The company also provide service repair on the parts for any damage sustained during the use ! So you would not have to pay new set if you break one ! They only fit 17" wheels, as they were made to be used with the OZ rally wheels.

I am still discussing costs at the moment, but price would be in the region of 650-700£ incl VAT for a set of 2 ducts !

Here are few pictures of the part used in rallying to wet your appetite.

So before going further, I would like to know if there would be any interest in starting a production of these parts.

Cheers !

Nice and serve a purpose on a proper rally car but.... I'd rather stick my knob in the blender than have these on.

Thank you guys for your opinion ! For those who don't think they look cool well I don't know what to say, maybe you're not into rally or :P

The fact that they are banned for road use is a serious minus but come on, who is driving with a car that is not road legal over here ?

I want to add that the price is the price given by the company, not my price !

Was just about to ask why they aren't used anymore/if they actually worked that well. I assume that they did work very well then?

Im sure they work but your limited to one exact wheel that they fit and only to use them on track days kinds of limits your market sadly.

If they fitted and worked on the 18" monte wheels and were removable then you might get a few of the escort boys wanting them if they had significant benefit on typical track day sessions.

to get 10 at the moment you may struggle due to their limited appeal.

Afaik there are for 17" wheels, as the Grp a cars only ran 17s

Would also love a set, but I would get fisted by the police if I got cought with those.
