Default new 4x4 bonnet will I ruin it?

I have a new bonnet to go on my race car it is a genuine ford brand new cos 4x4 one with brand new vents in the original primer, I'm about to drill the holes in for the bonnet pins but something keeps telling me to stop and find a more ropey one to use.. presume there isn't many new ones left now and tbh at the moment there not worth much more than a good used one but in years to come they may be

any thoughts?

I would 100% look for one that's from a car being broken rather than drill the new one for bonnet pins.

Cheers,

See if someone will give you some cash and there used bonnet for yours. Then it will be used for good and not drilling (bad)

Unless someone offers you cash + another bonnet for it, I wouldn't think twice about using it. Not like it's from anything uber rare or expensive!

well, if its brand new and you are about to drill holes in it, then yes, you will ruin it lol

as for it being a spanker, bollocks, you already have it, so may aswell use it!

i have a 3dr bonnet with vents and aerocatches fitted for sale if its any use lol?
