don't really post on here much but have to say i'm gutted. only had my xr3 turbo down there a couple of weeks ago. always found them to be friendly and helpful. the only place i would take my car. best of luck to chris, andy, and all the other employees for the future.

Regards, Mike

i had my car live mapped by Ahmed and it was awesome after that - difference was like night and day - and the car was running fine beforehand without any issues but just thought as i will be taking the car on track to get the map checked and im glad i did. That car lvoed the red line and got abused wherever it could never even had to open the engine up after installing 4 years earlier and it was a secondhand harvey gibbs 400 engine too

Best of luck Chris, you was always good with me and my old rs turbo,

Ahmed keeps a pretty low profile which surprises me for somebody so well known and respected

Not a fan of MSD/M.A.D/NMS/Will Pedley etc... then?

Just joking of course, I'm sure all mappers will agree a dyno has its plus points etc...

Big fan of MSD and Will Pedley for their knowledge but not for the fact that they use the road to do the testing.

Results cannot be reproduced on the road as the conditions are never the same, whereas a dyno should be exactly the same every time....unless you use a non TUV approved dyno like the mad people

Perhaps the other should use non TUV approved because MAD cars are proven to be the fastest .

MAD has a RR facility in the same building.

Corrected

You seem to forget that harvey uses the same superflo as MAD and that neither of them are TUV approved

As for creating specific conditions, the only way to do that is in an environmental chamber like Ford use and NONE of the aftermarket people do that, they all just do their mapping at one set of temp/pressure conditions and hope for the best when the temperature changes based on guesswork from their experience!

To actually map a car really accurately for different conditions, you have to create those conditions, hot day / cold day / high pressure / low pressure / different humidities etc

That costs FAR more money than any remap that people on here are used to, you can buy an RS200 for what it would cost to properly map an RS Turbo in terms of doing it in different conditions etc!

Good luck Chris! Never used TOTD even tho I'm fairly local. I've only ever heard good things from mates who have used them and within the trade.
