As my title says, i got 3 points and a 60 quid fine for a CU80(mobile phone), anyway its been 2 months and i havent had my license back, so i rang the DVLA who said they have no record for any points added, so they gave me a number to my local "penalty office", they said they had no record of me either, so they said they will ring me back in 20mins.

Phone goes after 20mins, basically they said they hadnt had the ticket meaning the points have been dropped and ill be sent a new license and a refund of my 60 quid fine.

Hows that for a result, lesson learnt, wont be doing that again.

P.s it was only in the middle of a small town at 8pm on a weekday night, and because it was in town/between traffic lights and islands i was only doing 30mph in 3rd gear, wasnt like i was doing 70 past a school or 100 on the m/way at 5pm etc but yeah, first and last time

it used to be common practice to use the phone and drive same as kids not wearing seatbelts as cars didn't have them in the back fuck the expensive cars had car phones you'll get points for smoking soon
