Default Cosworth rebuild

Hi guys,

roughly how long would it take to rebuild a sierra cosworth 4x4 engine from the ground up?
just so I know how much labour would roughly cost
I would have to add head work on top of tht figure.
Cheers
jamie

To actually build mine, as in labour and not parts or machining has only cost around Ł400

If all the parts were there and ready to go it could easily be done inside a working day. Who you thinking if using. probably best to get someone who knows the engines well really as it'll be very expensive if someone builds it who isnt familiar and buggeres it up.

Well in my honest opinion he's got to be one of the best cosworth engine builders in the uk and possibly the world. He knows what works and what worjs well and you'll never have any bother with one of his engines. just ask the likes of andy gallacher etc who ahve 800bhp engines he has done. varoius people have there opinions who's best etc and thats good. lots of other good people too like reyland and mark shead at MA developments etc etc

The same with alot of companies out there.

I use SCS and there products and service is 110%.. My turbo on my engine was playing up and Harvey organised it to be sent from Australia to the UK fixed and back out to me in the space of a week. Iv rang him numerous times regarding installing the engine, Hydraulic clutch etc and has always had time for me and this is what you look for in a company. Someone who will go out there way to make sure your happy and thats exactly what I get from SCS.

I can say the same thing about Reyland, and Mike @ RandBmotorsport and Iv asked Mark Shead for advice once and was very helpful so there all good companies.
