OK, agreed their off your topic!! - but why does everybody give scoobies such a hard time??, their only crime I can see is that the early ones are now in the price range of the nova boys so completely destroying their image!. As a car what can people fault them on ?? (were talking performance / handling here, not looks!! )

Out of the 2 I reckon it would be on the day between the 2 FRS or CTR, each has it's plus and minus' - I could be swayed either way to be honest.

But as I'm a Honda person at heart at this moment I'd got for the CTR

When my rs was 158bhp@wheels @14psi 201lb/ft proven LOL and theres a guy that round here with a type r always going in wrong direction from me usually , he was behind me coming onto dual carrigeway a while ago and i sent it all the way looking in my mirror at 100mph he was a little bit behind , and took i took it to 130 and was a bout 100 yrds behind i slowed down to bout 90 and he roared past so take from that what u will , hed prob say wasn`t going for it

I've had a few beers, so am not going into one. BUT one of my best mates has a CTR and I've been up against a few on track. Standard the RS has a slight avantage, but it's all about personal preference, personally I prefer the low end torque of the RS, and the pull from the turbo, sorry, but V-TEC doesn't pull anywhere near as much. I also prefer the look, interior and exclusiveness of the RS. Now I've spent a relatively small amount to give a reasonable power hike the difference is massive, it whistles past CTR's. At the local 'at the bridge test' I can pull 143, the CTR pulss 130, quite a difference. Don't get me wrong, I love the CTR + think it's a great 'out of the box' package but don't think it's quite upto the RS, and not as easlity upgraded.
