Default New car headlights suck..

Is it me or are some new cars headlamps soooo bright it makes that bit inside your head behind your eye hurt when they pass by? Atm my car aint even lowered and Im having trouble. Vauxhall vivaro/ renault traffic vans are the worst. When they get behind you and light up the mirrors like a small nuclear explosion. I live down some dark lanes and sometimes I just have to give up seeing where I'm going until the car passes. And as for these super duper, see yer nan from 6 miles away, xray bulbs halfords sell, don't even get me started on those!

pisses me right off this does! its bad enough when the car has them has standard at night, and you think he/she has there full beams on, give them a flash in return to find out in your own horror they wernt on full beam, then they return fire with there full beam and you loose all sight of the road ahead for about 10 seconds :@

and these chavs with there £50 ebay ' 12000000000000 Watt x-treme blue HID Kits '

Seriously, fuck off. Ive never felt the need to have anything other than normal bulbs in the 40 odd cars ive owned, no HiD's, no ' ice white ' ' brilliant blue ' or any of that bollocks, if you cant see in front of you as standard, then you either need to get your headlight levelling checked, or your eyesight.

You may be suffering from night myopia, millions of people have this and don't know, the cure is very simple, special(cheap) glasses that take a certain colour out of the light spectrum, they work wonders.

It isn't the brightness of the lights, its the mis-alignment of the beam.

Mostly when people drive with weight in the back (passengers/boot full of shit etc) and don't adjust the wheel thing to bring the headlamp beam down.

I thought it made your car faster and thats why all the chavs do it!

Pisses me off when twats have the rear fog on when its raining. Or not turning it off when you are in traffic, foggy or not! Wankers!

A trick I was taught, by my female instructor, driving that is not sex instructor(I WISH!!) was to momentarily look down at the verge on the left side, it works perfectly.

I tell you what is annoying about some newer cars, and thats that you cant necessarily see the indicator flashing when its night and they hve their headlights on. I almost went straight infront of someone the other night who was indicating right when we were coming towards each other at a mini roundabout.

You're not the only one it pisses off, that's why I love certain designs of switches, like a mondeo for example, you have to push the switch in before you can turn the headlights off by rotating it, so the fogs can never be left on accidentally.
I blame a lot of it on car designs as well, ie on a 3 door cossie for example there is no obvious way of telling, unless you bother to loo at the fog switch, which can be left on all the time, personally I'd like to see all cars have a DASH light to advise of this.

Sorry Tabetha, I disagree. I think the mistake is purely down to the spastic behind the wheel.

I know when I go through fog.....not bad, can see for a few K's no fog light.........shit! Its come in quick, can see a few hundred metres at most *fog light on*...........ah I can see *fog light off*.......etc.

Then you have the COMPLETE FUCKING MONG! that sits in the middle lane at 60 with a bright ass red fog light on! WHY for the love of god?

They deserve to either have a massive case of anal worst or at best be given a fucking BMX.

Sorry, rant over.
