How much should you pay for a mk3 do people reckon? I'm after a base mk3 and over the last few days seen a few Escorts in different states for different Prices. which sounds fair enough, but i just seems like the prices are all over the place. ive seen:

xr3 with MOT starting at around £800

1.3 Ghia No MOT or Tax for £600

1.3 L for £350 No MOT or Tax

These are all sunburst red 3 doors.

I thought about £300 - £400 should be how much you should pay for an L ( i think the one i mentioned went for £250 off ebay, i got there to late)

So how much should i expect to pay for an average (possibly needs some work) car?
