Default Mechanics - foreigners - Manchester ?????

iv recently bought a Mondy ST24 on the cheap ...... buts its got a blown head gasket.

im lookin 2 u boys (& girls) for advice on any1 who may take this job on and as iv bought the car on the cheap i could do with gettin the work done on the cheap.

can any1 help??????

By experiance mate, you get what you pay for

Get your wallet out and get a reputable engine builder to sort it im afraid.

if you got the car on the cheap then spend the money saved on a good rebuild, you could even tweak the engine it along the way

not really pal, its been ages since ive had an engine rebuilt

theres lots of reputable builders on here mate, some not to far away.

Be aware that people often scrap these when one of the head gaskets go...

The water pump impellor is made of plastic, breaks down over time and causes overheating which in turn does the headgaskets.

I can vouch for that, i was once behind rusty on the way to a cruise

we joined the motorway and he floored it on the slip road, by the time id got to the end of the slip road he was a dot in the distance

Guy called Spencer, based in Stockport. He does all the work for the Manchester group RS lads - and they're a bunch of buftys. Cheap too.

fooking unreal is that TRUE a work mates got one goes like a train but plastic
you would think alloy or stainless in that engine .
