Sorry for the long title, just wondered how people have managed to block the water cooling off for their t3s on an erst? and if they had any pictures?.
Just i cant find the pipes for sale anywhere and many of u have told me not to bother using water cooling, so im just wondering how/ what u used to block the water holes on the turbo itself? Cheers Adam

I dont think they need blocked, but you could probably shorten the threads on the banjo bolts and use 2 copper washers and screw them right in, or put the 2 metal banjo fittings on and crimp the ends?

PROS: the car runs cooler,
CONS, you will have to drive off boost a minute or 2 before you get home, which you have to do anyways,

Before you do that though have you tried Ford for the pipes? Heard that they still sell them, don't know how true that is though. Failing that I saw some go on ebay for less than a fiver a few weeks back.

It's only a water jacket I cant see much harm in leaving them exposed if you don't intend to use them in the future.

I ran mine with the water blocked off for years... If I'm right I just cut back to rubber hose and put a alloy blank in and a jubilee clip.
