hiya guys,, ok got an audi s3 2000 model,, think turbos on way out as im gttn any hi pitched sqreech type noice !! lol,, anyway how much of a pian is it to change ?? am on a audi site but there all knob eds on it,, should have stayed in a ford!!

how good are you at changing turbos in general?

 

Simple enough. Remove both intake and outlet pipes from the compressor side from the top. Remove front exhaust section. drain coolant and remove coolant pipes, one from the turbo side and the other from the car. Remove oil return and oil feed. There are 3 bolts going through the exhaust manifold to the turbo, remove these from the top. Wriggle out the turbo from below.
