Msd coil pack issue
Just fitted my msd coil pack thisevening and its only firing on 1 & 4
ive checked the existing ign amp wiring to the fly loom and theres 6 pins, now the way the plug goes its only using 3 ? is this correct or has the loom been made with the plug the wrong way round ?
also does the coilpack have to be mounted for it to work properly
any help appreciated paul

Simple test, swap the blue and purple wires over in the ECU and swap the lead position and see if the other two pots fire, if they do it's a driver fault.

It looks like to me that the plug has simply been made back to front.
The pins pop out easily with a paperclip wire bent straight and pushed into the small slots above each pin but you may invalidate any waranty you have !
