i put some ready mixed antifreeze into my mums car (fiat brava) when we had all the snow cos the heating packed up...sorted the heating by bleeding the system and it was fine now its gone cold again its packed up and jus been out to have a look an the ready mix has basically turned into throff like a head off a guiness ....any ideas why this has happend ? also found its got a slight leak from water pump again ....any ideas thanks

 

Possible head gasket if there's a head in the coolant tank, when you say the heating 'packed up' what happened? did the blower stop working? did it have no warm air flow?

Sounds like its run out of coolant, the heater's stopped working so you refilled it, but the damage has already been done, it overheated and the headgasket has gone?

Is there a mayo like substance under the oil filler cap?
