Default Zetec turbo oil feed

was looking at my zetec block today and theres 2 grub screws that appear to be in the oil feed galleries to the head can i use one of these as a turbo oil feed or would i be better just using a t piece off pressure switch?

Theres a larger gallery on the back of the block next to the oil pressure switch, your better off using that one.

just make sure it is on the filtered side, i would use oil pressure switch

Ya think thats one i mean it at same height and about2 inches back fom switch?

Take your oil feed from as close to the pump as possible, it will be cooler and under higher pressure.

lol, the oil in the head will be just the same pressure as down by the block, it makes no noticable difference, plus a turbo doesnt need great pressure. As for tempereture, not sure there would be any difference either as all the oil in the supply line will be a similar temperature due to the rate it flows at and the fact oil doesnt conduct heat greatly, ive never heard of a turbo failure due to someone taking it too far away from the pump, after all it travels through a 3ft pipe and probably a restrictor before the turbo any way. Simply put, no oil or contaminated oil will prematurley wear the turbo, but any oil under pressure from the engine will keep it alive. IMO
