Default Right or wrong?..... ebay Q

I sold an item stating no postage, but the winning bidder wants it posted at his cost. Sounds fair but - What would you do?
Is it unfair on other bidders ?
Is it wrong to turn his offer down? as no doubt other bidders wouldn’t bid because of the no postage.

If the items finished already how is it unfair on other bidders if you post it to who won it? In fact more importantly who gives a fook
Its up to you if you feel its unfair to other potential bidders to post it to this guy then go to the hassle of re-listing it if it makes you feel better and able to sleep at night lol!

well presumably the reason you said no postage is cos you couldnt be arsed to package whatever it is and go to the hassle of sending it?
(big, awkward, heavy etc)

for that reason i would tell him to stick it, but if you can post it easily enough then do it i spose!

I see it unfair to expect someone to go to the trouble of doing something when its clearly stated they won’t!
Why the fook should I rap his parts n use my time to send them?
I’m sure if it were re advertised with postage there’s a good chance someone in Timbuktu might have bided on it, that’s also my point!

Was a piston, barrel n head from a 125 bike engine.
Offered Ł8 postage on top which I think will be cutting things fine?

stick it in a big tri-wall cardboard box, then put it on a pallet and charge him Ł35 for pallet rate delivery, won't get damaged and will sting him a bit

i have loads of shit that i could sell on ebay, but can't be arsed posting it so don't bother putting it on. the problem is that this country is so big, and ford fans so rare that they just wouldn't sell if collection only. i can see it both ways, and if i was you i'd stick to your guns and make them come and collect it. that way you can get cash when they collect and not have to worry about the payment side of things.

Cheers.
I’ve told the buyer to come collected it
It was advertised as “no postage”, so I cant see how I can be in the wrong
