Yeah i thought that would be the easy option Mark, is there any reason you would need a different size or are all air injector set ups drilled/fitted to 0.8mm bleed?

Make one, if you're stuck I have incremental drill bits from 0.25mm in 1/4 mm steps up to 12mm, so could soon drill one for you foc.

Why do you need a 0.8mm bleed?

MSD use a 1mm bleed hole with no issues if that helps you in any way.

That looks like either a carb jet or a nitrous jet.

But why are these things using an air bleed at all ? I thought the point of air injectors was their ability to accurately control airflow through them ? Surely they dont also need a fixed bleed too ?

If you cant drill or solder it up to a 0.8mm orifice.

MIG welding tips come in 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0mm and are cheap

Bleed is used to allow excess air out of the bottom tank so the actuator is not held open

Other wis, where does it go?

I'm not familiar with how you plumb these air injectors up. I wasnt aware you pumped air in, with no method of allowing it back out.

Really just a complicated and expensive way of imitating a 3 port solenoid lol

Air to top tank, air injected into bottom tank and through the pipe to waste gate,

The bottom is the one with the bleed

And tbh, yes really.

I had always thought the reason they were using air injectors was so they could blow the w/g shut as well as open, to give very fast and responsive boost control

Didnt think it was such a very basic setup done in a complicated way.

Yup as above twin port actuator, same as the tial waste gate, we use two sets of air injectors one for top and bottom
