Testing the future
it will get shut down, like the brit ball did, if twats post on public forums that cars will be 'racing the full length of the country'.
if it can be proved to be a sensible event with no emphasis on speed whatsoever, it stands more chance of happening.

Hello guys, i haven't once said on any sites that its a race, each entrant receives a terms and condition decloration which they must agree to, obviously it has to be a fun drive, but people will be told to drive carfully with a bit of common scense.
As long as people stick to the rules the police can't stop it, people go from John O Groats to Lands End all the time in all sorts of things, and theres been runs in cars before too, it will probably be 10-12 hour drives each day, but its just part and parcel of the run, the people who drive on the gumball pay £10000 and drive 20 hours at a time, you don't hear them complaining.
Any ways, just thought it would be a good run to organise, should be good crack, anybody interested just send me an email.

Personally, I can't see the appeal of any event like this held in this country. Our roads are over-crowded, lane discipline is more shit than a shit thing and you can drive any point from A to B in this country at any time you like and you don't need to pay someone for the privelege .
The appeal of the Gumball, is the exotic locations and the "once in a lifetime" experience (unless you're loaded) .
This country sucks (but not as much as Norway) .

Hello Mike, i understand where your comin from, but its a route that get used all the time, the roads aren't that bad, roads in Scotland are good, fair enough the motorways down south might be busy but its no big deal.
The gumball 3000 across america goes through New York, me and my girl freind was their last week (IT WAS FREEZIN, 28" OF SNOW IN 1 DAY IT WAS CRAZY), the traffic their is chaos, there's no way i would chance drivin a £250G motor through that, but they still do, another thing Chris Moyles is doin it so it can't be that shit of an idea
