Default Frontera Owners heater good or bad ?

FAO,
Any frontera owners on here, my dads frontera b(2.2 petrol) does not have the most wonderful heater in the world, are they normally a very weak point heat output wise on these.
I'm doing a matrix replacement when a bit warmer, as it's a complete pig of a job with dash out and everything, not quick like a sapphy!!
I just wondered what they were like normally heat wise, I'm using a copper/brass, the same as I'm replacing my sapphy one with(copper/brass).
Have found de-misterman on ebay does loads of these copper/brass, very good price too, about 30% more than a plastic/aluminum one for most cars in case anyone interested.
Any input most welcome, thanks

I did the stat when I did the belt/tensioner when me dad first got it, temp of engine is good at around 87-92C,(measured), it is not the best of designs for the heater, looks like a easy 8-10 hour job tbh, dads just bought a copper/brass matrix, in place of the std fit aluminum crap.
I've also just bought a copper/brass matrix for the gf's astra, and one is being made for my cossie this week.
I must admit after what I'd heard I'm very impressed by it overall, the oil level sensor is disconnected for some reason, but no flag up, what a shit design sensor that is, sump off job, as it bolts to the sump floor inside!!
