On 8/1/11 between 2am and 5.30am a friends white RS turbo cab was stolen from the Chell / Packmoor area in stoke on trent

Reg plate A7NNL
5 spoke wheels - silver
Side skirts and modified bumper with round holes to take driving lights (Not fitted)
Half leather trim
Chrome rear badges

Orginally bought off a trader from the Walsall area off ebay.
Car was taken using a key and was all spotted on CCTV in the stone area A34 petrol station doing a drive off. Footage not good enough to get a face image.
Trader is known for doing this before and west midland police have already raidered and questioned him but nothing found.

I will get some pics up as soon as i can get some from her if any one has any info please pm me. Possible reward offered

Shit news I am in Norton mate, I have never seen that car though.But from what you have said it looks like its gone back home going that way !!. not good.I would be keeping an eye on ebay for parts tbh.

The problem is that you have to leave your name and address with the old keeper / seller on the V5 so if you can get any imobiliser(s) and or keys changed or fit another one! Years ago I had My RS stolen and the brake lines on my wifes car to prevent chase! this was made me very warey.

changing the key for an electonic imobiser is always a good one as the bad person (sucessful dynamic censorship) is sat in the car wondering why the f**K (failed dynamic censorship) the engine doesn't start!

He does say in the 1st post as the trader has been raided and questioned but nothing came about.Also says he is known for this kind of thing.Wank this is as people get away with this shit

What a cock,and one of the easiest cars to clone/ring back in the day,the only difference on the v5 being 2dr as opposed to 3dr therefore meaning a cheap shit xr3i which were 10 to a penny back in the mid nineties could become a far more valuable cabriolet.

With a simple alteration on the logbook,which no dumb 18 yr old bint in the Dvla would ever bat an eyelid over.

Still,nowadays it's a much more difficult prospect as of course finding any sort of mk4 escort is getting rare these days.

Shouldn't be too hard to find it again,there's not many good ones left plus that's got to be one that he's planning to ring as it's not worth a great deal in bits,as nice and clean as it is.

Pay a visit time I reckon,especially if there's plenty of cars there,Nitromors is a very powerful thing!!!!
