As above ladys & Gents..

Im taking the missus to Hawaii for 12 days for our honeymoon.. anyone got any experiences, must do's, places to stay?


Not going untill August but as june/July is there busiest time i thought id get everything booked nowish so any advice is welcome

Its not cheap, including flights we (family of 4) are looking at Ł10,000 then spending money for 2 weeks on the Maui island. Well worth it tho.

Pearl Harbour, Surf, Waikiki beach on Oahu. Volcano and observatorys on Big Island, Waimea canyon on one of the other islands.
Keep an eye out for Magnum PI and the Five O

So decided on somewhere else, which I reckon is better

I went about 5 years ago and preferd Maui than Wiakiki, Great place and would recomend it.

i went there in 2004 when travelling and stayed on the island of Oahu.

Pearly harbour is a must; i stayed most of the day and took it all in. take the option of having the headphones which talk you round the tour - well worth it.

Diamond head is great for views, bit of a trek tho.

go upto the north shore of the island if you want the real hawaii. Great for snorkling & surfing. You can also see turtles being let into the sea for the first time there.

Wakiiki beach is nice for a day or so, but its very American'isd, basically not the real Hawaii. Probably the best for shopping tho.

Go gun shooting if going to Wakiiki beach, great fun.
