Default head skimming question....

The h/gasket on me 2wd saf is being replaced, and it might be on its last skim or so......what i'd like to know is:

How much for a 2nd hand head?

Is it viable to use a spacer plate, and if so, what size?

The spec is t3, greens, 17psi, 4x4 cooler, 3bar.

Im not gonna go past 17psi, cos its plenty for a 16yr old car, so what would be the best spacer to get, or should i go for a new head??

What about these Cometic gaskets etc....

there are thicker ones you can buy so it compesates for the skim etc...

only read up on this though.
