cosworth did intend the yb to be n/a but ford told them to strap on a turbo on

If you mean mine I bought it from Cosworth brand new only 6 months ago and is specifically made for dry sump engines, they make many YB derivatives that have nothing to do with Ford hence no badge, it was the same with the YB engines fitted to the Panther Solo.
