are british tuners living in the past

Fit a 2000bhp drag motor into the back of a sierra mid mounted, tint the windows so rod doesnt know, leave a T3 YB in the front just not on a gearbox anymore, do 230mph at brunters and film his face.
would be 50K well spent if you had 10 million anyway

I'm sure I'd still lose on a technicality.
"excuse me the conditions were not quite correct"

Well it wouldnt be Yb powered really, so of course it would lose out on a technicality, but only if anyone found out, thats how cheating in motorsport works, its fine providing no one knows.

No chip, its one of those for you, you've been arguing for the past god knows how many pages that rod was after the saph record, and rod has clearly stated he considers himself to hold the SIERRA record... Doesn't say saph on the log book as rod rightly points out!
Maybe YOU don't know him as well as you think! ; )
Ben
Ps - as far as scandinavia is concerned, they DO have more 500bhp cars over there than you can point a shitty stick at, and most are on different specs to those used in england. a 400bhp car is considered to be a "baby" car, but then again a moderatly attractive woman over there would be considered to be a stunner over here! Shit winters though!

Yes Rod had cleared up that very minor difference, but my point (which was true and that you were trying to say was incorrect) was its the model specific record he cares about, wether that be saph or sierra isnt relevant to the comparison to martins car either way.
I take enough notice of rod when he keeps going on down the pub about it to notice it was about a model but not enough to notice which one obviously

Because for most people stage 3 is a good conversion and makes for a fast road car, as said it's only the big power track cars etc or cars that people have thrown a lot of money at that make the magazines which I don't like personally, sure I like reading about them but it would be nice to read about more normal road going cars to balance things out.
It's well know Norway are power hungry and no doubt have the money to do so so that is probably why they have more powerful cars.
