focus rs mk1 immobiliser help?

Default focus rs mk1 immobiliser help?

hi my focus has been sat up for 4 months and now wont start!
when i turn the key the fuel pump doesnt prime, is this the immobiliser?
battery is fine!
any help would be great

Have you checked all the fuses?

This happened to my mates and one of the relays in the engine bay had worked its way loose i have no idea how it had but just pushed it back in and the car started.
Maybe an idea to check them mate.

Fuel cut off switch?not sure of the exact location on them,try near a kick panel etc.it's caught me out on kas a few times,can be people kicking the panel or banging something to hard so it maybe worth checking.

Also try the earths by the battery as these can become corroded over time.

If it is immobiliser the red light above the clock will be flashing when you turn ignition on. If the immobiliser is ok, the light will colme on for a few seconds with ignition, then it will go out. But if the immobiliser is cutting in, it won't turn over anyway.

Have you tried giving the top of the pump a tap while you try starting it?
