Wierd Cossie ECU fault.
I have P8 on my car.
Its played up today. Car wouldnt start. Cranked fine though.
no spark, no fuel. pump running fine and injectors had power but no pulse. coil power but not pulsing again.
changed CPS still nothing, changed ign amp still nothing. everything else except ECT sensor had been changed before so i know they were all okay.
checked the ecu loom for power and resistance in the right places, all was well.
was about to give up so checked the ecu to make sure the baby board or chip wasnt loose.
Both were fine. Still didnt start.
so got pissed off and twatted the ecu.
starts and runs fine now WTF.
anyone else had a similar wierd fault??
only thing i can think is a loose connection in the ecu itself or maybe perished cable in ecu occasionally moving enough to break connection and kill engine.
other than that im stumped.
Only thing i can think is to go across ALL the soldered joints on both ECU boards and redo them all just in case one is dry.
Any other ideas???

Yeah, poor solder joint,it should be obvious when you strip it down.I had the same thing with an UNO turbo years ago and it was the boost sensor joints that had failed, right in the middle of the board.
