I had a lot of trouble tracking down stickers for my old Trek after it was painted. Could Sticker Paul possibly make them up from here?

Try and track down an Orange stockist as they will usually have an enthusiast or two who would know. I have a load of old mountain bike mags but none before about 96. My old stockist in the UK went out of business so cannot even recommend them.

very nice. I like foes.We are a foes dealer and have sold a few in the past. I had a set of Monster-T's too, but found them a tad heavy for street riding ETC. Nice forks though. I stripped mine and custom valved them cos they were soooo slow out the box.

Love the look of them bikes, that Orange Patriot is hard!

My mate has last years Specialised Bighit, cost him nearly 2k! Ive just bought this years Specialised P2 jump bike, had the disc brakes upgraded to the new Hope Hydraulic ones, cost me a fortune but was worth it!

I'll try and get a pic, will only be off my mobile so might be shit quality! lol

yeah easily. The 888's are the nuts IMO. We had a set on a M3 that came in as i had to build a blot-thru rear wheel for it, went for a ride, and they felt the nuts.

Love those Spooky Metalheads

I've got a Santacruz chameleon and a Kona Stinky. Both great bikes and both disc'd up

Has anyone else ever managed to get their disc brakes smokin? I got to the bottom of this really fast down hill run in the Forest of Dean and my brakes were smokin like made

Nice one mate. i absolutely love Intense's. Escpecially if youve got nige page EX Tazar. And Ł400 is a bargain considering they are like Ł2k new.

IMO, you cant beat the old skool metal head for a dirt frame. I love mine to bits, except for the shitty XT 4-pot on the front, which needs to be changed.

what year is it from roughly as i got some old 94/95 xt shifers and the old dx style xt brake caliers off my new project , im more a rigid kind of guy and im very mush stuck in old school world , best bike i ever owned was a kona explisif so i gonna rebuild that but with a bit of a twist

still got me all 96 xtr gearing with the original xray gripshift ( but i may use my suntour xc pro shifers or my xt thumb shifters, not decided yet )

i got a issue though wanna make the bike a perfect weight balance front and rear and so need advice on spokes as thats where im gonna try to tweek the weight abit more

as im using magura hs33 on the rear ( due to my old hope Ti cassette hub) and not sure what disc on the front but ive ordered my pace carbo forks already

so whos the mobile techy parts catalouge on here as i need some proper advice on products available, be warned i am a fussy fooker with bikes

when i can be arsed ill post a piccy of my bikes but there all in bits at the moment , cant store 9 bikes in a garage big enough for 1 car unless ots in a big box and just got rims and frames hanging up

as for orange have ya tried cycle surgery as there a fooking top bike shop, they know thre stuff and are in it sa they love bikes rather than the money only

*cough* they're actually triple butted

XTR cranks... The whole lot was XTR, right down to the headset and cables!!!

Caygill is a custom frame builder in North Yorkshire

It's frame number 349, and is fillet brazed reynolds 653.

Think thats a 1992/3 frame.

I used to have a proper hard on for Kona's Used to ride lovely

I'm looking to get my first full susser. Has anyone got any good or bad to say on the following:

Marin Mount Vision
Spesh FSR 100 2005
Rocky Mountain Element 70
Kona King Kikapu

I currently have a Dave Hinde M3 decked out in XTR and Hope Mono Mini's - awesome for most trails but its not so fast over the rocky stuff downhill.

The Specialized are great bikes Keith, and the Rocky Mountains look gorgeous

I've never ridden one of the latest Marins - I did ride an original style and hated it, but the new ones are totally different

Specialized's customer service is ace if you do ever have a problem!

The shop I used to race for in Basingstoke sold the Colella bikes built by the Colella brothers, who lived locally. They showed one at bike 96 at Olympia. Was worth 8,000pounds and came with a custom 2000 paint job. It was orange with snakes like medusa (greek goddess) going along the cross bar and diagonal down tube.

Must say it was the nicest bike I have ever ridden, like sitting on an arm chair! Also had Hanebrink forks. Stunnig bikes but sooo expensive.
