Default Could you drive this as a daily motor?

I have driven by it on my route home from work for over a month now and it is for sale.

£1795 they're asking for it, I showed the photo to the wife and lets just say she didn't apreciate the idea

I have had thoughts of buying it for a daily car as I am really taken by it

Is it priced right?

And would you

I like that. I'd be tempted by that myself. Seems a reasonable price if it's tidy and usable. Wouldn't expect a minter for that kind of money.

Yes, why not? Only problem that would concern me is theft, I am on the lookout for a classic for a daily. Unfortunatly that one isn't tax exempt so will be £205 a year. It's got the right engine as well

If you do buy it, change the cambelt, whatever the owner says about it being changed recently.
Crap heaters even when new.

they are fine to use as a daily, but dont have power steering etc, but that doesn't bother some people.
slam it on its arse and put some nice deep rims on it and its retro as you like.
not a big fan of them tbh but they are good RWD fun and very modifiable.

i think its a bit expensive tbh,
seen these localy for lot less, even in back of classic ford theres usualy a few for less than that,
does look quite tidy, but i love old skool fords,
i'd have it no prob,
but as a daily driver i'd say fit elec power steering from a corsa
and a 2 litre zetec for reliability and economy, just standardish nothing mad,
be a nice little run around

No. As a weekend warrior fine, but dynamicaly compared to anything half modern it would be so shit, uncomfortable, noisy, slow, heavy steering, shit brakes, shit on fuel, unreliable, BROWN, etc you'd soon get tired of it.

Great weekend car, you'd soon get bored of it as a daily.

Stop one day and have a test drive, I'd put money on you definitely NOT wanting it as a daily afterwards.
