he's obviously got his fans, but i just don't like his music, he reminds me of morresy with it all being doom and gloom
point me out a nice hapy tune he's done as a singleton and i will have a listen and MAY change my onion of it, but until then, it's just like the betles, over hyped crap as far as i'm concerned

simply because i think he's a boring old fart doens't mean to say he hasn't got fans
in the same way that the lead singer of the pussy cat dolls has got peole buying her records even though her current single is so shit that anyone else would have not even charted, yet the hype machine behind it is so massive it's almost certainly going ot be number one, same with cheryl cole and the rest of them brain dead maneged by somin cowel types
but yes, i much prefer the music made by the monkee's to the beatles

When will everyone learn to just ignore dojj. Thats the only way he'll get bored and go away, he wont be able to argue with himself for long will he. If you keep quoting and arguing with him, he's going to keep coming back

I was in New York earlier this year and visited the memorial in central park, tbh i was a little dissapointed! i expected a bit more than a mosaic but there were candles burning and fresh flowers and cards there, and this was in march. Goes to show you how much he still means to people!
Nowhere boy is a film about his early years and if you like him, its a good watch. Theres no beatles stuff in there, theres abit of McCartney when he was in his early bands but thats it.

Beatles and all of the "artists" in it were and are poo! Saddest thing about the 30 years is that they still play the music...
I can remember when Mike Reid used to do the Radio 1 breakfast show and every morning he'd insist on playing a Beatles track which was my cue to turn to local radio for the rest of the day.

I'll be honest, I'm not his biggest fan. I hated the beatles and "Working Class Hero" was the only good song he did in my opinion. However, I may not like him he didn't deserve to get shot and it is a shame. Apparently the killer was motivated by "Catcher in the rye"? I've read it and at no point have I felt the need to kill a Beatle

He's got a lot of fans yes, but so has lady gaga, so now you are going to compare the 2 of them?
You lot seem to be labouring under the hope that he was Jesus and will come back and make everything right in the world again when, at best, he was a singer who's mrs did more harm to his image than the good he was trying to do for himself, so in that respect he was more akin to David beckham.
I love the way that you lot think that because YOU like his music that I should like it as well, someone has kindly pointed out some YouTube links and I've listened, but it's just not my thing, how can I make it any clearer than that?
