just out of interest what is involved in fitting these heated screens, i know iirc that you can fit ones from a saff but you have to modify the scuttle panel area then again i could be completely wrong

They're actually just short of £250 inc VAT, I have a brand new std one that we fitted to mine before the paint went bad that you could have if you wanted.

Thanks for the link mate, they are actually 3.7 miles from my house....
I was unsure of a Halfords there to be honest but my old man has just informed me that all the Nationwide autocenters are being rebranded to Halfords so has only very recently changed name.

Will let you know re: your old screen as heated does sound good but £250 is money i could spend elsewhere.
