Can you connect to any wifi network using your iphone? Can you connect other devices to your o2 router?
When did you get the problem? Have you turned your phone off and on again?

Can connect other things to o2 router e.g another pc sony ericsson mobile although that askes me for the wep key and not a password which seems to work fine for that.
Try to connect my iphone and it just asks me for the password.I have tried every number on my router which doesn't work.To my knowlage i never set a password on my router.

yes sure did just keeps saying wrong password.
I am even aware that it may be case sensitive.
Found alot of people are having trouble with trying to connect to wifi with them but no solutions have worked so far

Try disconnecting all other devices. Turn everything off and leave it off. Then turn your router off at the plug for 5 minutes. Turn it back on and after 5 minutes try reconnecting the iphone but nothing else.
See if that gets you anywhere.

When mine fucks up I try searching for wireless devices on the I phone,it usually picks up my network and next doors.it tries to automatically connect to mine so I go into wifi, select the network, touch the blue button and it asks you to "forget this network?".
Choose this, switch your wifi off and on and then it will ask you to select a network and enter the password.this is totally case sensitive, mine is all capitals and it won't work otherwise, obviously the I phone defaults to lower case so I double click my shift key and it goes blue and I get caps lock,it's in settings if yours doesn't do this.
Try again and as said above,if no joy turn your phone off and the modem/router.
My I phone is pretty faultless,it's the router that's dodgy,it overheats badly so I shove it in the freezer for ten minutes and it usually does the trick.
Good luck and any probs, just ask.
Oh,while I remember there was something I found on google to do with a default ip address if you get really desperate,do a quick google search and it should come up.

You need to go into the router settings and set yourself a password if you haven't. This is one of the first things you should be doing when setting up a router as you don't want anyone around you using your wifi to do god knows what.
What make is your router?
