oh and for those who didnt read the story properly it was an "out of court" settlement. Personally id of fought it all the way. I doubt he would of lost as i cant see any legal precedence she has for getting more money. More maintenance, yes certainly but cash assets no.

surely on fluid savings post divorce, in maintenance terms she is entitled to a proportion of earnings in maintenance only??? so this year shed get shit loads but next year onwards shed only get a percentage of the interest earned. I dont think child maintenance payment calculations take into account savings/assets only earned income.
